Happy Happy Joy Joy!

The plan was "Littlest Pet Shop" theme for my lil' girl's bday party. That's our cat "Goonie".

One night after playing this old "Ren & Stimpy" game she told us she wanted a "Ren & Stimpy" party!
My husband and I chuckled and thought she wasnt being serious.....you know how kids say one thing,
and as soon as you show them something else, they like that idea? Well......
she wasn't budging.....she got *teary-eyed* and said, "But Stimpy is a fat cat and Ren is a chihuahua,
and I love animals!" It's true....she loooooves animals.
"Mom, you can print out Ren and Stimpy pictures and we can stick it on top of the Littlest Pet Shop party hats!"
K, HOW proud was I that she's learned a thing or two from me?!
Where there's a will, there's a way! haha!

Sooooooo.......we told our friends the theme, and they all cracked up 'cause no really-little-kid these days know about Ren & Stimpy.......but then again......it makes sense that my lil' girl likes 'em. She's goofy, silly, loves to laugh and laughs at anybody who says "underpants"! We laugh A LOT around her.

I can't believe she's 5! It feels like a second ago, she was this little nugget on Groundhog Day, hahaha!
We found this company that brought 10 puppies for the kiddos to play with, and I can't recommend them enough! SOOOOOO cute, and my girlie was in HEAVEN! We played pin the tail on the "No Sir, I Don't Like It" horse, and I just drew out a bunch of Rens & Stimpys that the kiddos colored!
I also made my lil girl a Stimpy dress! I get crafty with my skills! haha!

Po' lil' Tink Tink....

If you're around me,
you'll hear a clip of Kat Williams saying "Po' lil' Tink Tink"
when somebody texts me.
The way he puts the story cracks me up EVERY time.
So if you think you're having a BAD day.....think of Tink Tink. (Oscar Pistorius)
I do!
*Note: Hide the kiddos! All kinds of strong language,
so just lettin' ya know ahead of time!

What every girl should not just read, but apply....

If you get a funny feeling reading any of these, it's your gut telling you there's something wrong.
So leave him, fix it or be super-happy alone than in a crappy relationship!
I found this online somewhere....:

-If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away.
-If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.
-Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.
-Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.
-Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship that's not meant to be.
-Slower is better.
-Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.
-If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't "be friends." A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend.
-Don't settle.
-If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.
-Don't stay because you think "it will get better." You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.
-The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
-Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women. He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, Why would he treat you any differently?
-Always have your own set of friends separate from his.

-Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you, speak up.
-Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.
-You cannot change a man's behavior. Change comes from within
-Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...even if he has more education or in a better job.
-Do not make him into a quasi-god. He is a man, nothing more nothing less.
-Never let a man define who you are.
-Never borrow someone else's man. If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.
-A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.
-All men are NOT dogs.
-You should not be the one doing all the bending...compromise is two way street.
-You need time to heal between relationships...there is nothing cute about baggage...
deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship.
-You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals...look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.
-Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.
-Make him miss you sometimes...when a man always know where you are, and your always readily available to him- he takes it for granted.
-Never move into his mother's house.
-Never co-sign for a man.
-Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need.

You'll make someone smile, another rethink her choices, and another woman prepare.

What the hell am I UP to?!

Well.....last year I spent planning all this stuff out for my art and designs.
WHAT do I want? WHAT do I want to represent?
I've been known for my PinUps for so long, and that's just not me anymore.
I appreciate 'em, but there's a lot more to it and there's more to me as a creative person to show.

Fitting my friend Audrey a dress for NY Fashion Week.....
....it's a LOVE IT or HATE IT type of dress....can't wait to show ya the end result!

This year, I'm bringing them all out little by little!
The thing is, I like things to be matchy-matchy.....it's just how I roll.......but that takes time.
So you'll be seeing more of my fine art come out, my digital art on merch and opening up my new shop
with fashion designs! I entered this Campell's soup contest for "Heart Health" month coming up in February.....but I didn't win. I don't care......still making this, but with a different design on the back! heehee!
I'm also gonna be making some custom outfits for some A-MAZING people.

Oh yeah.....and be this great mom and wife at the same time! haha!
It's a juggle I tell ya!

My Follow Friday's....

I've read tons about artists and business men & women, but what has always stuck out to me is the person.
If they were a happy positive person, or if they made their "successful" moves based on getting rich,
or being a tortured soul and having it come out through their work.
Dont they always die all sad-like? No thanks. I respect anything dark, but I'm not all about it.
The real world is dark and tragic at every turn! GAAAH! Why take the time to stay in that frame of mind?

Nope, never been an Edgar Allan Poe fan, but then again. I don't seek sadness, confusion and dispair.
So when I become friends with or discover positive people.....they stick out to me.
I love it! I love that they keep the drama to a complete minimum and showcase aaaaaall these little things in life that bring out good feelings! A piece of art. A good quote. A cool project theyre working on. Somewhere neat they're at or have been to. Something fun, pretty, rare, beautiful etc.

If you're on Twitter, I recommend you follow:

Gregory Arlt: He's M.A.C. Director, and you can see right off the bat why a person like Dita Von Teese + more would want him around! He's all smiley and SOOOO funny. I wish I could keep him in my pocket to comment on my everyday life. Very witty. Oh yeah.......he's also a jaw-dropping talented make-up artist. Or as he calls it, being a "beauty excorsist"! haha! Told ya......the boy is hilarious.
We're workin' on something together so stay tuuuuuuuned.....

Tarina Tarantino: Well........where do I even start with her?! She's RAD. She's a complete business woman, but with this *sparkle* and wonder in her personality. She's not joking when she says "Have a sparkling day!" She means it 'cause she lives it! I've been lucky enough to have worked with her, and her whole world is this retro-meets-future artsy world. You can't help but be inspired. I love how she evolves with her own favorites and shares it with the world through her Collections! Her make-up line is coming out soon at SEPHORA! So keep an eye out!
http://Twitter.com/TarinaTarinaT

Rose Apodaca: Sheeeeee's a trip. She's this ball of energy and creative accomplishments in the literery/fashion field. Not only that, she's opened up my world to all kinds of rare gems of knowledge through her blog and introdcing me to her friends. She's working with Dita Von Teese on her Beauty Book and is doing a biography on Fred Hayman. Co-Founder of "Giorgio of Beverly Hills". Not only that, she's got some shops with theeeee most unique-chic-funny things to add into your own life, which she runs with her dear husband Andy of course! : AplusRstore.com
http://Twitter.com/AplusRdesign

Dita Von Teese: Then there's Miss Teese. Basically the only burlesque I'm down to see. Nothing compares. Why? Well.....unlike most people immersed in a decade or two, she really branches out into fashion, arts, literature and anything unique. Plus, nobody can touch her glamor. It's surreal to watch. (Note to self: Be more graceful Evelyn! haha!) She actually brings about this innocent &not-so-innocent fun out of her life. Love it. Can't wait to see what she's got to share with Rose. I'm sure it'll have some fearlessness and having some guts when it comes to style!

Johnny Cupcakes: I could possibly eat him up. Not cause he has cupcake in his name. He's just  a sweet guy! A total credit to great marketing, but he sticks to his fans like nobody else I've ever seen. He takes the time to get to know you and say a little something in support. He goes around the U.S. and Europe to different Universities and Colleges to share his knowledge with the up and coming youth. He's also an open-book which are one of my favorite kinds of people, haha! He's like a Pee-Wee meets Walt Disney in my mind.

NOVA DANDO: I haven't actually met her....she's in England! I found her through styling La Roux, but it's *neat* to see her adventures and personality come out through her designs, stylings and Twitter pics! Really really talented and has worked with tons of the best of the best. I think anything from her will just get better and better.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXHnYMk6bnE

Everything is rosy now for me...

I LOVE pink roses. Any shade.
I also love the smell of roses, so my sister got me this skin care line from Boots!
It's based in the UK, but you can get yours at Target or order it on Amazon.com.

I would always watch 50's commercials, ads and women talking about their cold cream.Well I tried this one, and at first I chuckled 'cause it said to wipe off with wool cloth.WOOL CLOTH?! haha!
After I put it on I could see why. It cakes your skin, but after you take it off,
it's soooooo moisturised!
All my makeup coming off in one swoop is also nice!

The Tonic and Vanishing Day Cream are so light and refreshing.
My skin is loving it & its SO classic looking!

Tea for Two & New Adventures for you!

Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfZI7blXg2c
I don't think I'll ever listen to that song in the same way again after watching "Grey Gardens"
It's definately a must-see!

I watched it again the other day to show my friend Bexy.
We found a new dance move from Little Edie....you know....
the marching-choping one she does in her red outfit!
We'll see how it goes out in the clubs, haha!
My friend went home feeling like she had to take a shower and clean her whole house after watching it.......which is the general response, haha!

I think its a good look at what a person will deal with when you are put down so much.
The mom just made it a "normal" thing to tell her she couldn't go out on her own if she's being taken cared of.
When in reality......all she was doing was taking care of the mom! Left to wish and dream.
So if you feel like all you're doing is wishing and hoping, but somebody is keeping you at home.....
don't ever get used to it. Like its a "normal" thing.
You don't see bruises with emotional abuse.
The bruising is that sink in your heart knowing you can't ask to go here or there with a friend my dear.

If you wanna go out.
Go out.
Live.
Feel free and never put up with somebody who thinks you're not trustworthy!
It's like saying,
"I love you....but you're not that smart and I'm not THAT great,
so I don't want you to see the world, smarten up & compare it to my crappy-self."
If that person is great.......no other person would compare right?!
I love a new adventure!
Never be scared of what people will think or say you can't because in the end,
you'll be surprised at how gutsy you really are!

*To new adventures in this new year!*
